Heading to Leon, Nicaragua with 14 people

Stayed in San Jose de Jinotega- a much larger city- last night.  Today we left for Leon, an even larger city, on the Pacific Ocean, we are where the red pin is:

It was about three hours from Jinotega to Leon and we had 14 of us packed into a truck.  The little orphan boy on my left just loves the attention from us guys.

Oops I taught him Angry Birds too!

As we were about to leave Jinotega Martin our fearless leader spotted this ambulance which is the type he is hoping to acquire for his emergency transport ministry which addresses a huge need for the destitute.  The driver let us check it out in detail.

Arrived in Leon after a long, hot cramped journey.

Arrived at JCM orphan ministry, we unloaded and met Cheryl the founder.

The mom of the cleft pallete baby after we arrived.

The missionary didn't have room so we are in hammocks at the beach- easy compared to jungle.
