God's work is often invisible

When we spend time with God we are often granted an answer to prayer, a revelation, a teaching, an inspiring idea, and other things that encourage us.  These are great and when we seek the Lord these encouraging signs are given to us quite often.  Still, most of God's work is not immediately visible to us.  We can rest assured that 100% of our prayers and all of our seeking ARE making a difference but much of God's work is either invisible to our perception or may not be revealed to us the instant we pray for it.

For example as God's Spirit is working to transform the way we think and feel in order to change our lives- this work is often done is us through the teaching of experience.  God uses people, experiences, time, and examples that build upon one another to show us His ways - and form His nature in us.  This is not an immediate work.  However when we "show up" to seek Him - that work IS happening.

Similarly, when we pray for someone or something God begins to work immediately- but much of the work may be unseen by us at least initially.

Rest assured that your prayers and seeking are not in vain- and eventually the unseen will be seen and your prayers and seeking will have outcomes you can see.
