"Put God First Test" - Day #15 - "This is for you"

I am in an experiment to show (myself primarily) that a person can put God first, seek first his kingdom, and spend time with God daily.  The experiment seeks to show that if a person does put God first then not only will a crazy job and life not fall apart- it will thrive.

Lord, thank you for this time right now.  Thank you that I can come near to you my mighty God.  Help me to have more of you.  Help this to be truly about you- and not me.  Thank you that in my disability- you work.  Thank you for you are powerful.

Holy Spirit help me right now.  Draw me near to God.  Let me remove those hindrances that stand in my way.  Thank you that every fear is invalid.

If you don't want to say anything through me today Lord that is fine- I give this time to you.  Let it be all for you.  Let my family and I be all for you.  I will rest in confident assurance in you.

Prayer Requests:
* Lord help "M" to come back to you.. and his family.  Heal and forgive.  Save him Lord.  In his silent moments of desperation thinking he can never break the bondage of lust help him to come to himself.  Help him to have an understanding to seek God.  Help me to be a friend to him.
* Lord, please open up the country of Cambodia to U.S. adoption so that many sweet lives may be saved.

Bible Passage:
Psalm 60 - this is what spoke to me in my Psalm of the day:
 3 You have shown Your people hard things;
         You have made us drink the wine of confusion.(NKJV)

I'm glad its normal- and even part of the plan that sometimes we are shown hard things and that sometimes God actually makes us confused.  I'm glad that no matter what happens I can trust the Lord that I am in his plan.

Things are not out of control.

Let's GO God!

All scriptures are in the New King James Version of the Bible and obtained from www.biblegateway.com.  The NKJV of the Bible is Copyrighted by Thomas Nelson.  (thanks guys)
