30 Day Test - Day #3

What is this?  An experiment.  I am so busy and my time with the Lord was lacking.  This is a test of spending time with the Lord faithfully for 30 days - as a test that by putting him first in my life and prioritizing time with him... he will help with the rest.  I will blog daily during this test.

Bible Passage:
Psalm 48 - this is what spoke to me in my Psalm of the day:
 8 As we have heard,
         So we have seen
In the city of the LORD of hosts,
In the city of our God:
God will establish it forever.  Selah
9 We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness,
In the midst of Your temple.(NKJV)

What I learned from the above portion of my daily Psalm was that it is God who establishes our city in life- we need to trust him to build the things we are trying to build.  It is his support and help we should rely on - and not depend on ourselves alone.  The second verse, verse 9, that I noted spoke to me because its about meditating on God which is something I love to do but I don't do very much- may this reinvigorate that in me!
